A Volunteer Organization providing free service to community
We already have in existence an volunteer non-profit organization that provides emergency roadside assistance to our community. We are looking to expand our organization to cover a number of other community based volunteer assistance. The community has benefitted tremendously so we want to expand.
Q1: What would we do with $10,000 towards our business idea? Make the most of it. Being that we have been fundraising on our own, we know the value of every dollar and what it takes to maintain even a volunteer organization like ours. We will begin the development of the expansion of our organization with the subdivisions listed.
Idea Description
The organization that we currently have in place is called "Chaverim" (hebrew)which means "Friends". Our organization provides emergency volunteer roadside assistance. Being that we have gotten very positive feedback from the community, we are looking to expand and take on new responsibilities including a search and rescue team, basic daily assistance to elderly, health and safety seminars for the community, civilian patrol, and an outreach and recruiting division. We feel that because we already have a good reputation, the expansion will be positive. These extras will be under a separate corporation which will be a subdivision of Chaverim. Our goal is to continue to serve our community.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Being that we are all volunteers with very little overhead, all the money we receive will go to providing the necessary equipment and training to our volunteers. A small fund will be created to advertise our services and for recruitment purposes. We are also in the midst of building a website and this money will go for development as well. We look at this donation as an investment so that we can present ourselves accurately, thereby continue to receive funding from others. With continued funding the subdivisions that we look to create will happen with ease. Our goal and commitment is to provide volunteer services to our community on all levels. Any financial assistance will ease that process

The investment bank would be expected invest in seed level startup projects like yours and to lose money at a specified dollar per jobs ratio for example during hard times that figure may be as high as $20,000 per job and good times the figure may be as low as five dollars per job, by controlling this ratio the fed could roughly control unemployment. The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another.
