GRUTV is being developed to promote and prompt people to do Random Acts of Niceness™. Every day a news segment will be broadcasted on a podcast/webcast to depict people having done nice things and discuss important moral/character issues like friendship, manners, bullying, tolerance, friendship.
Q1: Question: We would also appreciate any guidance and insights that anyone could provide regarding marketing our Niceness campagin and get viewers to visit and view our podcast when they premier in September.
Idea Description
Today the media is filled with negativity which focuses on sensationalized acts of violence and ignorance. Negativity is the news and niceness is forgotten. This perpetuates more negative and distasteful behavior. GRUTV™ plans on doing just the opposite. On GRUTV™, niceness is the news. Our goal is to recognize people who are performing Random Acts of Niceness™, to encourage them to become better people by doing something nice for others, to provide education and inspirational content regarding niceness and civility, to provide caregivers/teachers etc, the tools to discuss and inspire their loved ones to be nice & to educate children how to have a positive relationship with their peer

GRUTV's™ next steps would be to put the money toward the production of the daily show as well as the publishing of weekly educational extension materials published in conjunction with the show.

The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another. I would so love to turn on the news before I go to sleep a night and watch a half hour of good deed news. It would be a great way to contribute to the concept of collective mind set.

Liked the idea. Wish the name could be something different. How about a punch line like "Your good deed for the day!' or "Good deed of the day"?
We are developing a site just for the same purpose. positive news of all kind. The site will be kind of a wiki web page where registered user's are able to submit all kinds of articles, images, videos and audio which spread the positive message. If interested you can join. We want to do this a s a open source web site owned by the public.
This sounds like a refreshing idea. I completely agree with the philosophy expressed by GRUTV. We're sold so much negativity, I don't believe that it represents the world that we live in. You've got my vote!

The "GRU" in GRUTV stands for Grusome. Our main character and host is named Lil' Grusome. He and his Nutshell Gang are part of a series of educational books that have ben published and are designed to inspire discussions between adults and the important children in their lives.
