Idea Description
THE HOTEL CREW is a collective of contemporary artists with the mission of transforming old eyesore hotels into vibrant works of art. Each artist, if selected for the project will be given between one & three rooms of the hotel to transform as they see fit. The image and quality of the hotel will be improved & elevated into a living gallery of sorts where guests can reside inside of the environments created by the artists. The project will travel from city to city improving communities appearance and economy while providing a unique opportunity to artists while promoting contemporary art. In exchange, the project will ask for a room in the new hotel to start a residency program for artists.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
A website will be set up, the first round of artist submissions will be considered, the primary city and project site will be finalized, our PR and media plan will be put into action.

If business and industry have their way they would run their companies with no jobs at all no management or labor. The investment bank would be expected invest in seed level startup projects like yours and to lose money at a specified dollar per jobs ratio for example during hard times that figure may be as high as $20,000 per job and good times the figure may be as low as five dollars per job, by controlling this ratio the fed could roughly control unemployment. The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another. how about also pairing artists with people who have repair/renovation skills? A lot of eyesore hotels need repair and a renovator's tool skills could amplify the effect of the artist's vision
Oh, definately, we would also be accepting submission requests from individuals who would like to suggest project sites or from hotels which would be interested in participating
I got carried away with the alliteration. I guess what I mean is that if I know an eyesore hotel, can I propose it as a project for when you might come to town with the crew?
If we get the start up capital we need to move ahead with the project, we would be accepting artist proposals for the room or rooms they were interested in transforming.
