The Green Lifestyle Film Festival
The Green Lifestyle Film Festival is a non profit that is financed by donations and sponsors.
This is an outlet for those who wish to offer sustainable, solutions based approaches on film to our most frustrating experiences and problems that we create on a daily basis.
Idea Description
Believing that most of the maladies, violence and apathy that is so prevalent in most societies living outside of the Laws of Nature can best be addressed by the powerful medium of film the Green Lifesyle Film Festival incorporated as a nonprofit and is open to filmmakers who share this perspective. We reward and honour film makers by screening their films at the festival and presenting them with a Green Apple Award at a Gala Awards Dinner. The films chosen offer creative solutions and inspire change and healing on a very profound level. This is also a venue for troubled teens/pre-teens to video document their lives and show how they could change to a more sustainable lifestyle.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Subsidize filmmakers who are unable to pay the submissions fee and purchase video equipment for our Teen/Pre-teen Project. We need to purchase video eqiupment to lend to "at risk" youth and employ professionals to teach them how to make solutions based documentaries which will unleash their creative potential and give them a much needed voice.
We have a panel of judges who will choose the films and essays submitted by these teens and pre-teens that offer evolutionary choices and foster well being and peace filled activities.

Q1: How to get this film festival recognized by/in the main stream media

Thanks so very much for the recommendation. I shall definitely follow up on it in the next few days. In appreciation Dorit
Patron of the Arts (POTA on here) would be interested in what you do. She directed Purgatory House - written by a 14 year old girl. You should try to connect.
