LIBERATED LAWN SIGNS help suburbanites do the right thing...
LIBERATED LAWN SIGNS help suburbanites do the right thing. Goodbye chemicals and guilt, hello eco-friendly lawn.
Idea Description
Suburban homeowners suffer the tyranny -- ecological and monetary -- of maintaining the perfect suburban lawn. It's either toe the line or suffer the disparagement of the neighbors. A LIBERATED LAWN SIGN allows you to let your lawn go "au natural" and actually brag about it. This attractive sign dispels the notion that you a)can't afford a lawn service or b)don't care how your property looks. In fact, you care about how the Planet looks! Placing this attractive sign out front where everyone can see it (near the ubiquitous security alarm sign)lets everyone know your organic lawn is by choice. Ditch the chemicals, plant some ivy and save money too. It's a green revolution:one lawn at a time!

Q1: Finding brave families willing to be first movers and buck the chem-lawn norm
Building awareness and sales
Potential backlash from lawn treatment companies
Not a bad idea, however there is not an either/or in this situation. You can have both an organically cared for lawn and a beautiful, green lawn--I own a business that does organic applications on lawns and they still look great. I do think it is a great idea to make your neighbors aware that you care about the environment and have chosen to go chem-free. Best of luck!!
Glad to see you got your idea up!
