  I agree with James that you should look to get a website started...but you are left with the problem of optimizing the site and getting it out to the public...which is the same problem you are facing now. When capital is limiting your ability to grow, there are only a handful of good options. Asking for money is risky as you will now have other people's opinions weighing your venture down. However; if you must borrow...start with the SBA. your local bank will have more info on that. If borrowing is not an option...you need to create a plan of attack. Start small with your centers of influence, these are friends and family members who can help move your product. maybe your Aunt knows someone who knows someonewho owns a pet store. maybe you have neighbors who are pet enthusiasts. The idea is to build a word-of-mouth campaign that gets attention...that will lead you into the stores. Approach every pet related store in the area and ask them what they want to see in order to sell your product. This will give you the goals you will need to set. Most banks give away dog treats, …moreyou could donate some to your local bank with the understanding they have some sort of note that says who these treats cam from and where they can get more.
  
  As I have said in other columns...the most important thing is to have a detailed plan of attack...know your customer and pinpoint your target market. This makes coming up with a strategy so much easier.

  Well do you at least have an online store. I really think that this sort product would have a lot of tech fans. Build a website with a lot of ways to recommend your products to friends through fun shareable flash e-cards. Focus on the internet before you get into the more expensive area of physical marketing materials.
