Idea Description
We send kids mail. Why? Because kids are special too. Have you ever heard your child say.. "do I have any mail?" Well that was the premise for Postal Pals, to give children an opportunity to receive mail especially designed for them. We like to refer to our packages as packages of love. Kids receive monthly mailings that keep them abreast on special occasions, such as holidays, current events that they should know about, and of course inspirational and motivational messages. They also receive a personalized birthday shirt. The target audience is kids ages 4-14.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Winning $10,000.00 would allow us the opportunity to make this a non profit organization. We would definitely have the ability to get licensed as a 501c3 organization. The funds would allow us to purchase needed supplies and office space. We are currently working out of home and with the increasing costs of postage, we have been stagnant in growth. We would like to target underprivelaged communities. We would have the ability to purchase equipment that would allow mass production, ie. printers, postal scales, bulk items, etc.

Q1: procurring membership on a larger scale and handling a larger scale production
I wonder if you can tap into any of the return mail Santa services. I would think (and I am not sure of this) that there are some services out there that respond to Santa requests at Christmas time. How do they do this?
