Improv Theater in Philadelphia, PA
Improv Theater in Philadelphia, PA
Idea Description
The improv community is growing rapidly in Philadelphia, though has no home to call it's own. With creating a space for Improv comedy to call it's home, Philadelphia will be able to grow to that of New York, Chicago, and Los Angelos's Improv community.

Q1: The main business challenge I am seeing is parking, but the area I am interested in placing the business is already pretty heavily trafficed and public transportation is easy and convient.
As a Phillyburbian, I really do see the need for this. I'm thinking of a couple great locations that maybe you’ve already identified: Old City, South Street, or North Philly/Temple Campus. Temple's campus area would present the least trouble as far as parking, but the improv crowd probably wouldn’t call that area its stomping grounds. However, the area has other entertainment venues. The other two areas are parking problem spots: I too would promote public transportation as cabs and buses patrol those areas nonstop, as you know! I lived in Philly briefly and didn't mind taking a cab to entertainment many nights. Hope this works out--I'll want front row seats opening night:)
