Idea Description
Fun Frames are a one piece printed graphic designed to be colored by youngsters ages 5-11+. The graphic is printed on stiff paper board and die cut to provide a unique frame around the graphic. Subjects are Bible stories and American History. Coloring may be done with crayons, felt tip pens, gel pens, or water colors. Subject of the graphic is printed on the back side for reinforcement. Fun Frames benefits are: learning color concepts, eye-hand coordination, picture order and most importantly LEARNING COMPREHENSION. Children love to color and with Fun Frames they have the opportunity to learn something valuable.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
My funds are extremely limited. I have registered the trademark Fun Frames® so that is a start. I have complete costing systems done and now I need to do several next steps. 1) hire a graphic artist to produce in appropriately style art the graphics for (5) sets of four frames. 2) print the sets as identified (a total of 20 Fun Frames and we need at least 1,000 sets to start with. 3) prepare a web site for marketing. Need a good site that can be interactive so prospective purchasers can print out a copy on paper any of the subjects. (that is a won't, not a must) My estimated costs to accomplish all of this at this time will be close to the $10,000 if I should be blessed with the award.
Vote for it now.

Q1: Getting the best web site that will function properly and graphically explain what Fun Frames are all about. Also a site that I can update myself.
This is a great idea and I love it! Keep thinking!! You've got the mind for invention!!
This is a spectacular idea that has many applications beyond those mentioned by dnaeve. A case in point would be to use this concept as the carrying box for Kellog's 8pack cereal container. Now, instead of just holding the other small boxes, this could be a frame with NFL figurers, or Disney characters or any illustration that would appeal to that age range. This is where the container can drive the product...similar to a Happy Meal at MacDonalds ...the toys drive the sale of the meal. Frames are so flexible for this age range that there is no limitation as to where they could be used.
Uncle Dale guided me to your idea. Just a note: Not everyone is allowed to hang pictures on the wall. The old cardboard picture frames opened up in the back to create a picture frame that would stand up either vertically or horizontally. Also, the description on the back is good. Why not add a bronze-colored title plate to the front. A true work of art should be special.
