Charity Online Poker Room: Completely NON PROFIT Legal U.S. Poker Website
Idea Description
My idea is an online poker room that donates all of its profits to charity. In the last few years online poker has become extremely popular due to the World Series of Poker craze. Currently it is illegal in the United States to deposit into an online poker website because the government couldn't regulate and tax online poker.
This site would work similar to live charity poker tournaments, where a player buys in to a tournament for let's say $10, $6 goes towards prize money and $4 goes towards charity. The site would not take ANY profit and therefore would not be illegal in the U.S. With millions of U.S. poker players stranded for a legitimate legal site to play, this idea could take off.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
-researching the price of purchasing poker software for the site
-building the site
-advertising
-produce a business plan to present to an already established poker site
Vote for it now.

Post a commentI have had this idea for years and have a business plan put together for it. I have even registered an appropriate company name and have a business model laid out. Would you like to get in touch and we can collaborate on getting this idea off the ground?

U got my vote! If the governments can monopolize the lottos, then why can't WE choose OUR charitable contributions?
