Q1: biggest challenge right now would be having enough available to sell. there is nothing on the market that i could find that addresses severe weather protection in a small aforable package good for both the car and at home.
Idea Description
Develop a wrap around blanket that is protective, water resistant, flame retardant and highly visible for use in case of severe weather. Complete with a NOAA weather radio, flashlight, attachable strobe and emergency locator transmitter.
1. Highly visible orange tarp 4’x8’ with grommets on each corner and one in the middle of the 8’ sides to secure the blanket if needed, water and flame resistant.
2. Liner for top of blanket to help protect from debris made out of either spectra (ten times stronger than steel) fiber, Kevlar (five times stronger than steel, flame resistant, low electrical conductivity)or twaron. 2’x6’
3. Bottom liner made out of a water resistant material to keep occupan

purchase materials needed to implement idea and secure shop to assemble. develop website and advertise. contact walmart to see if there is an interest for product in store.

I think this is a great idea. I would love to carry something like that in my car and one in my home. Good job!!!!!!!!!!!
Great idea! i think it would especially appeal to the markets where severe blizzards occur and tornados. i think u should have it pattened first then contact retailers such as Target, WalMart, Lowes Home improvement and even Bass Pro Shop!!! God Bless your idea!
