Idea Description
The idea is to start a telecommunications company that would cater to the needs of companies that could not afford a large telephone based campaign. The best feature of our company is that the agents would be at home. Our company would use at home agents and Voice Over Internet Protocol to call a customer list provided by the company. The company could then do different tasks for the client. We could conduct research for companies needing feedback or market research. For non-profits, we can solicit donations or spread information about an event or issue. For training purposes, we would have simplified scripts that a agent can follow to complete the information in an accurate and safe manner.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
The first step would be to research and find the best possible connections for our company to use. Finding a reliable means for the agents to call with is essential. We would then have to develop the computer programs for use by the at home agents. Our programs should be easy to learn and be step by step with instructions. One of the advantages of our company would be that there wouldn't be the need for a large office space because the agents would be at home.

I like the idea, although I'm curious about competition. If this truly is a more cost-effective way to do this sort of business, I would assume other companies are already trying to implement this process.
Make sure that you build parameters/matrix to identify what is successful and what is not. How are you going to insure that your at home agents are doing what they are tasked to do? Need to be able to monitor them.
