Idea Description
A nonprofit organization helping better off couples give to low-income couples to be. The organization would have a store front stocked with used wedding items that are collected as donation items from previous weddings. Items like dresses/suites/shows/centerpieces/jewelry/table linens. the couples who donate their items would then receive a certificate with a dollar amount of their donation for tax deductions and to remind them that their special day was passed along and shared with someone else. The organization would not only house wedding items but would also assist in the wedding planning, finding low-income couples lovely inexpensive locations to wed.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
10,000 would be used as seed money for a feasibility study and if the project is a go the rest of the money would be used to develop a marketing campaign and hopefully a store front.
