Idea Description
OIC allows for instant communications once in place, from any Planet to any other Planet. In this set-up, even traveling spacecraft can communicate back to "Houston" or other control point. Solar flares, massive x-ray dead zones can be forecast and allow space crews time to be safe in transit. And for automated /non crew flights, this will allow for instant in flight course corrections with little if any time delays.
