Idea Description
A pet store needs to stand out, and there is no better way to do that than to supply you customers with happy, healthy animals and specialty services that you can not get anywhere else. Offering specialty services like on site fish tank care, reliable pet sitters, and fun "petting zoo" birthday parties where the kids can learn the value of a living thing as small as a mouse. Many of the specialty in-store events would help to benefit local animal welfare groups. This would bring people in to the store, and help the saddening pet over population issue that is overtaking the country.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
If i were to win the $10K, the next steps i would take is to move my online pet store into a bring and mortar store. I have shown myself that the pet supply business is the right business for me with a profitable internet store, but i want to put my ideas to work in a real store front. The $10 would help me to get a building as a lease or rent where i can put my ideas into motion and get working. The internet is a great place to test out your idea, but i need to move on up now.

It's hard because at least in California, you can't buy pets, only adoption. So you can't simply charge more, you'd have to require a higher adoption fee.
