Idea Description
The coworking space I run is operating at half capacity because I do not have a good, usable system for managing membership or the resources we have available to share. Having an easy to use system for sharing out resources would not only change how we do business, but would be beneficial to other shared resource communities/businesses. The idea would be to keep it completely modular, allowing an admin to identify users and their properties, and resources and their properties. The combinations are then up to the user, or the system could put pieces together based on the defined properties. This service can serve anyone from coworking to universities to art co-ops to incubators, etc.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
We've prototyped the data models necessary for our case study, as well as spoken with a good deal of other potential users. We have designers and developers ready to contribute, but we have not been able to offer them compensation to pull them away from their current paid workload. The $10k would be enough to entice the interested resources to dedicate some time to our idea and see it into fruition, and faster than we could without the assistance.
Besides actual development, the next step is to decide if we provide this software 100% open source, or if we run it "Software as a Service" style and provide further resources from the information gleaned from the reservations taking place.
Vote for it now.

Q1: Everyone has the same problem: talent is hard to come by. For us, we have talent at our disposal, but it's already busy with paying work. We have an idea model and a business model already set. We have users lined up. We simply need dedicated resources for execution in a timely manner.
Good luck to you, sir.
