Q1: Another challenge we have is capital. We are currently reinvesting 100% of our revenue into the company. We would like to raise additional capital to improve our sales and marketing campaigns.
Idea Description
We all know that weddings are expensive, but did you know that the average wedding costs nearly $30,000? That's more than the cost of tuition for 4 years at a private university! We created Recycle Your Wedding with the intent of creating an online bridal community where new and soon-to-be brides could buy, sell, and trade wedding items at low prices. We wanted to provide an economical alternative to high priced bridal and retail shops. In essence, we wanted to make it easier and more affordable to plan and pay for a Fairy Tale wedding on a realistic budget.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Our next steps would be to advertise with other bridal communities to get the word out about our community. The more members we have, the more diverse our product selection will be, which ultimately benefits those who are looking to buy items on our site. We will also spend a portion of the money to add additional options to our site that will benefit both the buyer and the seller.

This is a fabulous idea!!!! It almost sounds like a super "Craigs-list" that has a "green" and financially smart appeal to it.

As a recent groom, I love this idea. There is so much waste associated with weddings. Besides the economic benefits you mentioned you should also sell it as an environmentally friendly alternative. You already have the name.
