Idea Description
Allow consumers to raise money for their favorite nonprofit organization or their college fund by shopping online. It does not cost the shopper any extra. Partnerships with merchants make this possible because the merchants takes a share of their profit and gives back. My idea is ready for action:

Member accounts, purchase and donation tracking, and the coupon code aggregator have been completed. There are over 200 participating merchants so far. All I need now is the people to try it.

I have established the 501(c)(3) nonprofit The Give Foundation to run and maintain this service. So ShopWise is a not-for-profit service.
ShopWise can be used in conjunction with any other credit card rewards or "Give while you spend" programs.
A toolbar is in development that will make visiting the website everyday obsolete. With the toolbar when someone visits a participating merchant, the person will be notified and a link be presented. Additionally relevant coupons can also be accessed for that site.
If I win $10K, that will go mostly into advertising. I think the largest impediment towards the success of the site is that no one knows about it.
