Idea Description
We already know the benefits of having a Retinal Picture of the eye. Not only it serves as a ‘finger print’ of the eye, it also provides inclusive documentation of one’s eye health.
To grow my Optometric business, I will promote and make available to all customers Digital Retinal Photos. The customers will own his/her Digital copy for $2.50 (Two dollars and fifty-cents.) per retinal-photo. (Eye exam is not necessary, since I am not providing medical care.) Customers will then have permanent records of their eye 'x-ray' which can be use for diagnosis and tracking of eye aliments by Ophthalmologist, Optometrists, Internists of their choice or use as Wallpaper on their computer!!
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Purchase a Cannon Retinal Camera (apox. $21,000) and deploy it at Wal-Mart Vision Center, or Kiosks as 'duckling had suggested.

Great Idea. It really is ridiculous that you have to pay for better technology that can better detect issues. Plus...I hate those drops that open up your pupils....I can't drive when the do that so how do I get home from the doctor's appointment?

Excellent idea to keep a good record for our eyes. Good vision is critical for the quality of our daily life. We should ask our eye doctor (Optemistrist or Ophthalmologist) to print a copy for family members.
