Free and low-cost alternative and complementary therapy ...
Free and low-cost alternative and complementary therapy wellness clinic for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
Idea Description
Flowers of One Garden of Hope Clinic: No autistic or disabled child should be denied help with these proven, effective but often costly therapies. I would like to set up a free and low-cost, nonprofit clinic with ongoing support from service-minded individuals who would also like to contribute their time and/or expertise to help these children with gentle complementary and alternative therapies and parent wellness education. I would like to expand my current website into a clearinghouse site for studies, research, news and resources for autistic children and children with developmental disabilities.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would use the money for space rental, equipment for set up, advertising, insurance and business set-up costs. I would seek legal, business guidance and advice from other professionals so it would be financially stable and sustainable, yet be an outlet for other community and service minded professionals. I would seek advice and assistance with restructuring my current web-site and connecting with other organizations that help these children.

Google the words autistic and disabled children networks, institutes in place and get THEIR info and advise on this. Great and noble idea!
I would like to model it after Turning Point Center in Kansas City. It is a wonderful place for people and their families with cancer.
