Idea Description
Assist cities and towns to raise money for community projects by selling or auctioning the naming rights to new and existing streets. Establish web-based system to auction or sell naming rights to businesses, non-profits and citizens. Proceeds would go to local governments for important community projects. Our start-up would collect a commission on all sales which would be used to develop web site and market services to government clients.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Develop marketing plan and preliminary financial prospectus. This will include a market survey to assess revenue potential and viability of the concept. Financial prospectus will be developed from the results of the market survey and will include revenue and expense projections and expected net income over the first 5 years of operation. If concept is viable, prospectus will be presented to venture capital firms and other investors.

I think this is a wonderful idea, especially for small towns who could use the money to help develop their communities. I know my own home town could benefit greatly from something like this.
