Idea Description

start a volunteer organization that collects clothing, bikes, toys, etc. to give to children who are orphans, homeless, or underprivileged. The organization would be held up and running by the support of the privileged neighbourhoods near the underpriviled areas, by way of money donations, volunteer work or donations of clothing, toys, bikes, or something of that sort. Th hope would be that the organization would grow until it could cover more cities, until it covered the entire nation, giving to the poor, by receiving from the rich. As long as the priviliged families were glad to help and were accepting of giving away what they don't need, the idea is completely plausible.

What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?

The idea, though plausible and hopefully self-run, would most likely need a good amount of money to begin the process. So the $10K would put the organization on its feet for quite awhile, so it could establish itself in is neighbourhood, and begin a monthly donation process. The underprivileged children would received food, clothing, possibly housing(in eventuality), toys, and bikes, but would not receive any money directly. The families, if they wanted money directly would have to get a form to sign up for it and would ahve to go through background checks, and if necessarry rehab or probation, so as to make sure that they will not use the money for drugs or something inappropriate.
