Develop an Insurance Inventory Website to keep records (pictures,videos,manuals) of belongings for insurance purposes.
Idea Description
The purpose of this website would be to allow users to store information (for FREE) relating to their personal belongings in order to recover the event of a loss, such as fire, flood, etc.
If anyone has been through the experience of a major fire or flood, then they know how much trouble it can be to provide proof of damaged belongings to the insurance company to file claims. With this site, users could store pictures, videos, user manuals, etc. of their belongings. The site would be organized to input specific information, such as model numbers. Users' information would be in an organized format based on room, price, date purchased, etc.
This site could greatly benefit businesses also.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
If my idea wins, the $10k would be used to start up the site, develop it, and advertise. The site would remain free to users, as it would be supported by insurance related advertising.
