Idea Description
An informational website about how to raise your child naturally. From recipes to exercise programs to do with your children. Childhood obesity is a growing epidemic in our country today. We need to instill habits in our children starting at birth, so they can maintain and carry them through for the rest of their lives. Organic Baby will be a tool for parents to use as a community blog, buy organic clothing and bedding merchandise, research the benefits of healthy organic foods, etc. I would later like to own my own baby organic clothing line.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would start my website and hire someone to make a great web page. I already own the domain name. I would also invest the rest of the money in research and maintaining the website. I am going to need the opinions of Pediatricians, environmentalists, etc. Any leftover money I would donate to local farmers and their pursuit to grow organic crops. By supporting local farmers we help reduce the carbon footprints we make by buying imported foods.
Excellent idea. I also think it's important to allow for an easy way for parents to ask questions -- and have the discussion moderated, such as by an advisory board of experts (as you mentioned, pediatricians and so on).

HOLLA! i would put my chilrens in organic clothes all day everyday. .. only pimps where stuff thats organic...love it! go megan!!

Pretty neat idea, as a lot of things are going organic now from food to clothes. I'd be interested in knowing what you think of some of my ideas. Since you're in school, please check out the networking site I'm launching, and would like you try it out.
Great Idea! I'm all about organic that's for sure. Anything we can do to help people understand the magnitude of what's happening with chemicals in our environment, how they are harmful to baby and everyone else for that matter is a good thing. I love this idea, organic is the way to go, baby!
Great Idea, coach the parents on how to keep their kids in sports. A high percentage of kids quit sports before they are 16 years old. I am a tennis pro and have written an article for tennis parents if you have any interest in it.
how are you doing with this??? this is an AMAZING IDEA... ever think about having satellite locations, or branching out some? this is a wonderful thing here!!!!!
