  marcege1, i totally concurr; many individuals whether because of advanced age, illness or depressed and lonely prefer NOT being seen or having to face anyone, including the helping agent. They sometimes also prefer being in control of the help situation - coming in and going out based on their need from day to day. A rigid format or schedule is a challenge to them they'd rather do without.
