Idea Description
Our mission is to educate kids about fundamental eco-friendliness, and encourage them to take action in simple ways. We will provide sustainable alternatives for their everyday use (starting with school supplies) and create a community of young eco-leaders through our website. We ultimately want to give kids the tools to persuade their parents, teachers and friends to get involved as well.
Through little acts by little people, we can make a difference.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
We know we require $20,000 of start-up capital to create a prototype, half of which we've put in ourselves. We would need the money to:
1 - design an interactive website - one with games, puzzles and fun facts to teach basics in eco-friendliness and an area for blogging and sharing ideas to grow our network of eco-ambassadors.
2 - fund the development of samples of our eco-friendly line of school supplies.
3 - attend tradeshows to display our products and generate interest in our business.

This is a great idea, it gets our future leaders thinking about the environment at an early age.
I love this idea. You are right - Daily actions will lead to awareness and a better world. I am all for educating kids about the environment as young as possible. By providing them with eco friendly supplies you will be enabling them to feel as though they can make a difference. You will be giving them something kids rarely feel and that is the power to choose and change the world they live in.
