Create plastic shopping bags that can be composted as they are degradable.
Idea Description
They can now make biodegradable plastic from corn, soybeans, etc. Use these as part of an existing plastics plant production to make biodegradable shopping bags. They go into the landfill or your own garden as compost.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Get a pilot program with a local plastics plant to start making these bags and test them for printability (what inks to use?) and degradability.
