Thanks migdalah! We're glad to hear you like the idea. Inventory, I tried to find a way to contact you but there wasn't a way to do it from your profile. Haven't heard of anyone doing video auctions yet or paying users for listing...would love to hear from you! :-)

Great initiative, however your idea is offering two value propositions (get paid to list + use video) and users might be confused to what the value really is. On the first value proposition you might be find that users who will post 'undesirable' products they don't expect to sell, just to make money on listing. On the second value proposition, think about whether a seller or a buyer would really benefit from seeing a video of their product (let's say a used camera) or if pictures would suffice? You're making it 'harder' for sellers if they have to create videos, effectively turning away potential sellers who might like your first value proposition. However, applaud the idea of creating an alternative to eBay, I'm kind of trying to fix the eBay problem myself, as you can see from my idea…more.

Thanks farmasci, for your comment! Actually, just to clarify, we don't REQUIRE that a user include video with their listing, it's just an option. I agree that we don't want to make it harder for someone to list, and not all listings will warrant a video. So listings can either be just text, text and a photo, text and a photo and video, etc. You get the idea. But we really appreciate you taking the time to give us such great feedback! I'll stop by and check out your idea...

It will be very interesting to have live video of official auctions with possibility to buy in live. Have you think to that ? Is it previous ?
