Microloans and Entrepreneurial Education for Emerging College Entrepreneurs
Idea Description
Entrepreneurs need money and entrepreneurial leadership education as they launch and grow a venture. I am going to organize groups of 8 to 10 emerging entrepreneurs. They will make a commitment to grow their business for a year at a time. Each in their own venture and with a microloan. The requirement would be to meet two times/month for entrepreneurial education, exchange resources, solve problems and work through cash flow issues. Each becomes invested in their own and others success while they experience entrepreneurship.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would immediately assemble the first group of 8 to 10 entrepreneurs. Work with a banker, accountant and lawyer to figure out the details. Assemble investors who are waiting to invest in this concept, I have already discussed my idea with them. Organize the microloan paperwork and complete all the forms to launch the microloan program. Figure out what the loan agreements will be and issue the first group of loans.
Vote for it now.

What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Is $10,000 enough for as many people you plan on starting out with?
There would be a lot of demand for this. I'm on a student entrepreneurial organization at UPenn that gives grants of $1,000 to selected student entrepreneurs and provide them with mentoring, law advice, and other resources. So I know how this on a larger scale would be wanted!
Excellent idea! We need more of this type of thinking in the world. We need to empower and help others to realize their dreams and full potential in life. I am proud to say that I am Ashley's mom. Love you Ash! Way to get your groove on Nancy! You are a great example of what an influential mentor should be. What a great experience for Ashley and all the students to have you as a professor, mover, shaker, believer,
My name is Brianna and I am a proud supporter of this KICKASS idea!!!!! Note: Just to inform you I am seventeen years old and Ashley's sister.
I think you are on to something here, you are trying to accomplish something very similar to what is going on here at ideablob.
