Digital Book/Library
Digital Book/Library
Idea Description
For centuries, books have been used to educate, entertain, and so much more. Sadly, the manner in which this has been done has not changed significantly. Imagine having all of your favorite titles, conveniently stored in one place. Picture navigating through pages and finding specific data as easily as you find information through Google. This device would increase efficiency in creating, distributing, a updating books/publications. This device would also be a more environmental-friendly alternative to conventional books, and would drastically reduce publication costs. Imagine the implementation of sounds, animations, and interactivity. The possibilities, they're virtually endless.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Ideally, I would like to begin developing a prototype. It seems to me it would be more cost-effective for both myself and the consumer to develop the software and allow third party companies to purchase and use it with their own hardware. This would work similarly to how Microsoft distributes their Windows Operating Systems.
Vote for it now.

Q1: I honesltly can't think of any questions at this point; However, feel free to give advice on anything related to this idea if you wish.
Have you thought about ways to create a strong brand? How will you differentiate from the massive Google Book project? They are cataloging tons of books as I write this.
