The Big Give Rally 2008...The Most Rewarding Game You Will Ever Play
Idea Description
Create and implement the first annual Big Give Rally in which teams (up to four people) race around Los Angeles (or any city) on public transportation accomplishing 10 specific acts or tasks of charity benefiting 10 local charities around the city. The race is a cross between a scavenger hunt and the Amazing Race on CBS and is concluded with prizes for the fastest teams and a festival. The goal of this event is to raise awareness of local specific charities and to provide a fun opportunity to give back to the community.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Hire a not-for-profit event coordinator to help with organizing transportation, permits, charity participation, location scouting, hat, t-shirt, water give-away by companies wishing to promote their business and over all organization. Because the organization will require up-front money (even with donation and corporate participation) this prize money will allow for speedy implementation of the planning.
