The Citizens Action Project (CAP) is a non-profit homeowners organization concerned about the property assessment practices within its county, state, and country. Volunteers have already put together a report intended to illuminate unfair and inconsistent assessment practices and insist that fairness, accountability, and transparency be restored to property assessment practices.

What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?

We have produced so many positive changes in such a short time with NO budget.

This investment will assure the resources to effectively enact reform within our county (Lake County) and state (IL). Once we accomplish this goal, we will set our sites on national reform.
