  The extra column you need to add is a column for the people. How far have the people gone to accomplish the political goals that the politician says they'd accomplish.

  I think there is actually value in this site, but not necessarily as a fully open wiki. People will definitely populate the big popular candidates, but what you really want to make sure you include are the smaller, politicans, the ones that don't make the national news. If someone goes through all the information that politicians say, vote, etc. and then helps to translate that data well into something that is useful for some key target audiences (media, citizens, etc.). That could be a paid position so there is accountability, and then you can embed the wiki functionality to allow for the tracking to be expanded further. But, you probably want to think about embedding staff to handle key districts and track that stuff actively, so no politicians profile isn't filled out.

  I think thats a freakin wikid idea, no pun intended:P I love wikipedia. It's my crack.... Check out a site called TEDtalks.com and you can find a talk by the Jimmy Whales, creator of wikipedia and he talks all about how he started it up. He has a handful of very loyal volunteers that do a lot of work for him. If you became serious enough about this and got people excited, maybe they would be interested in doing extra work pro bono... You can always tell them it wouyld help on thier resumes, especially if it takes off. Hope that helps. Keep on brain storming:)
