Belt with handle in the back for moving the old folks!
What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Idea Description
This is a strong cloth belt that is fastened around the waist of the elderly patient that has a soft but strong cloth handle in the back. In this way every time they get up and try to fall you can grab them before the hit the ground. Hence 50% less hip fractures maybe!
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?

It's not a matter of choice. If and elderly person falls and breaks a hip and they enter the hospital because of that injury. There is a 50% chance that they will die of complications of that injury within the next year. As one grows older the bones become brittle. If you don't catch them there is a good chance of a fracture...And guess where they go next.
I can't see elderly people wanting to wear these... and personally I'd never want to try grabbing someone whilst they were falling - risk of more injury to them and also to myself.
