Idea Description
This idea is about providing a place for people to share their stories and wisdom with the world. A place that is more personalized than MySpace or Facebook and more focused then general blogging. It's a place to store the wisdom of people. It's a place that people can connect with each other. It's through stories and shared experiences that we connect and bond with people in real life... the goal of this idea is to bring the concept online and globalize it.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
The next steps are in marketing and some development. The site is up and running at http://www.thehumanknownproject.com ... the site needs some more design work, branding, and better presentation. Then, we need to get the word out... not only through online communitied, but by going to hospitals, veterans halls, cultural centers, and any other real-life group of people that could benefit from sharing their stories beyond the walls of their buildings.

Hmmm - I like the idea and direction of this. Do you allow people to import a blog they currently write? I would not want to have to repost the same story in multiple places.
This site would make for a great mentor/mentee platform. Where I could log on and get an RSS feed for the most current stories from around the web based on a series of personal criteria (age, ****, interests, challenges, etc)
Make yourself the crossing guard for blogs by connecting the right blogs to the right people at the right time.
