Idea Description
I would set up an animal rescue organization, so that the homeless animals of my area could be cared for. A network of foster families around the area could be utilized, so that the animal control officers don't kill these precious animals just because they run out of room and cages. It's something I have been doing on my own for years, but this money could help to open a no-kill shelter for these babies.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would use this money, along with private donations, to set up the animal shelter that is no-kill. Additionally, I would begin finding a network of foster families that could begin helping me rescue these animals.
