Common everybody it's New Years, What a better way to kick it off than with a proven accountability system for your goals. I actaully use service, and highly recomend it.
My favorite part of this idea is the group support. It is tough enough to get things accomplished on our own, having a support system makes it so much easier.Plus the motivational call is a good reminder of what needs to be done. My husband suffers from ADD and this could take alot of pressure off me. Usually I have to be the one to remind him of what he needs to do. This would be a really uselful tool to others who live with Attention Deficit Disorder as well. Perhaps this could also help older folks who are forgetful live a little longer independantly. For eaiser reading, I would stick to the main bullet points to capture the attention. A service as accessible and forthright as this has been long needed. Great idea!
The idea sounds good and doable. I like the idea of buddy system. Personally i work best in teams. My best sugession to improve the idea would be to give people a risk free trial period. that would motivate people who are hesitant and doubtful if this idea would work for them or not. I would suggest that it should be marketed online. Newspapers and TV wouldn't be too good for it. Try Social sites - u tube etc and education realted websites. i personally would like to get some relaxation in the penalty system. I wouldn't expect myself to be 100% every single day of the month. With the website, its fairly easy to navigate. But the layout could be made more appealing. So many information boxes don't look very good. I would also change the color scheme. Yellow isn't very calming to the eyes.
This is an excellent idea and useful for people of all ages. The price is great too... costs less than a cup of coffee a day! Kudos you guys! Starting with college students is an okay idea but busy execs who rely on their blackberry for reminders who don't blink an eye at $4 a day for Starbucks would be more lucrative in my opinion... companies may even purchase a "package" as an added benifit to their employees especially if it increases productivity! Good Luck!
i like the sound of this idea. Accountability can help with motivation.
My wife told me about this idea that you guys have and told me to read through it. I am really impressed. This is something that is useful to everyone. Not too many things in this world can do that.
Any fool can tell that half of these votes are generated and faked. I find it funny how these votes come in spurts and the comments essentially say the same thing. I think this person is creating his own accounts and then voting for himself...maybe even has other working with him. The idea is ridiculous....someone to call you up and motivate you? In my opinion, If this thing wins the credibility of this site is completely lost.
sounds like a very useful tool for college students, who you stated you plan to market this to initially. best of luck, Michael, and i look forward to hearing more about this in the near future.
This idea is fascinating, since it provides high motivation not only to get things done, but also gives you the joy of self-assessment and be able to share with other your success, better of all, it will let you help motivate other people with your own example, and even to get some kind of guidance from other regarding your own unfinished goals. As a marketing suggestion, it would be interesting to have some kind of success rate where you could measure overall group sucess and also (in a more private way, through a personal record, perhaps) individual success, and based on these rates to offer some kind of recognizement and encouragement, which would tourn also to be deeper motivation for the people toward putting their best effort on fulfiling initial commitment to their own goals.

Procrastination is the biggest hinderance in getting things done. What I like about this idea is its simplicity. The system is easy to understand and practical to follow. I would suggest some way of motivating people to give it a try. It could be an invitation for a free trial. The idea has potential and could be marketed on music download sites. that's where i am when i'm procrastinating. Iguess you need to explain the group dynamics a bit. How will the groups be formed? Is there a choice factor? Will there be a consistency? What if someone is late for the call? how late is acceptable? All these details need to be explained on your website. And yes, i didn't enjoy the layout of the website. Rather than putting everything on one page in diffrent boxes, how about a left hand menu and each …morepiece of info in its own window?
An anti-procrastinating system would certainly impress many individuals like me. This, however, needs to be further simplified and communicated through social platforms. This system will certainly help and motivate people like me. The conference call is about sharing victories rather than just accountability makes it something that I would actually look forward to rather than dread.
Although the best part of this system is getting stuff done. But I think the fun is to get to share it with others. It gives one a sense of accomplishment. My suggestion to improve the system would be to be allowed two penalty free days. There are days when you are not feeling your best and there are times when even though u try your best, you can't get everything done. Having penalty for even one undone task seems a bit strict. It will lead to people lying. To market this site, advertising on education related websites and job search sites would be good. I wouldn't change much in the system. For improving the website, i would suggest adding a FAQ page. In the comments above, there are a lot of things people are unsure about.
A very good idea if you can call and remind me to call in. I saw the spot where you could make JourneyPage your home page, I need flashing lights or an email alert, something alon those lines. Or how about a 2 for 1 membership, for me and someone I know personally. I know I would be more likely to follow through if my partner was someone I know personally. I like the way you limit the task list to 3 items, alot of procrastination involves making extensive lists and doing nothing else. You could also have some sort of daily inspirational quote or advice up front and center on your site. I think you should keep your ideas for marketing broad, as there are procrastinators everywhere. Just one more thing, please change those colors on the website to something calmer. Good luck and Happy …moreNew Year.
I think this program would benefit myself. I work two jobs and procrastinate every other thing in my life. I don't pay my bills on time let alone get to the store before the milk is gone. Time management is the big key factor to my sucess.
What I like about the idea is committing myself for an hour everyday to get important stuff done. Something i wouldn't otherwise do everyday. As a college student it would mean a lot of results for me. My best suggestion for imporving this idea is to introduce a small trial period. Not necessarily a free one. It could be something like a week and if i didn't like i could get my money back. For marketing this idea, the best place is the internet - social networking sites, blogs etc. Personally i would like to work with people of my choice. I don't know if that is how it works or does the system make you work with whoever? I would also like to work with the same people as far as possible. it shouldn't be that one day i worked wit A,B,C and D and the next day it was X,Y and Z. Your website is…more alright content wise. But it is not very appealing design wise. I like websites with a left hand menu.
nice idea - this is very similar to the phone calls that landmark education encourages. were any of you ever a part of that? it's a very motivating process. happy new year to all!
I would say that the conference call would kind of defeat the purpose haha. And as the person above me stated, it would be cool if there was some kind of free trial involved. I would personally like if you could program it into an ipod or something, but I doubt it would be feasible. Love it!
Top idea! Make sure you open it up for a free trial, so people can do one phone call first, then follow them up to see if it worked for them, and enrol them for a month if it did. I find peer accountability very helpful for getting work done.
This idea is wonderful. The personal and peer responsibility aspects are a very effective way to convince people to make life changes. My only qualm in this is the non-refunded expulsion if you miss a day. If I knew this was the case, the first day something happened and I couldn't meet the days goals, I'd lie about it, and after that it'd just become far to easy to skip the hour a day. Maybe after 3-4 days a non-refunded expulsion from the group or something, but not for the first offense. Life varies, and sometimes you just can't get it all in. So, I'd change that, and need it changed, before I myself would use or recommend the service. I understand why it's there, but I chase a 2 year old around from waking to sleep. I'd also tweak the webpage a bit. As it sits the pages themselves don'…moret link to and site resources or etc in the text, which makes me think of a hundred and half scam sites I know of. The possible market for such a website is huge, but advertising it could be difficult, you'd bneed varied rememberable ads in print media, or possibly just a few well placed online advertisements on Google, under search heads such as 'Time management' 'Personal empowerment', etc. Overall, a wonderful idea that I think needs a few tweaks, but is a great start for any procrastinator looking to get things done, so wonderful job.
You Re right michael, the biggest problem is getting started and it's not a question of if, it's a question of when. Your anti-procrastinating idea hiits the problem at the right spot. if marketed on social networking sites, it woul be a huge success. one suggestion - improve the look of your website. Its not very pretty to look at. i would have chosen something simple, something that would look nice to most people.
Working with group support works for most people. If used properly, it will bring huge rewards for people. Getting stuff done is directly proportional to being successful. However i didn't like the idea of financial consequence if the goal is not achieved. Rewards and consequences should be non-monetary. I like the way Yahoo answers use reward and consequence. Its all psychological. Something like that could be worked out. Sometimes, there could be reasons beyond your control and you may not be able to achieve 100%.
An excellent idea. Peer pressure is always a great motivator. This is the type of idea that I usually read about in PC World or PC Magazine. I think you should send the idea to them as well as to business publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, etc. This is just their type of news. Also, you should post this idea on both personal and business websites and blogs. This idea should really catch on at Facebook, as this is a great idea for students. I think you should have more detailed explanation on your website. I understand the basic idea but I would like more details. Your website still leaves me with many questions. Perhaps, one or two actual examples on your home page showing different types of usage. Your pricipal idea is still excellent but the details are somewhat v…moreague. I would need to know more before signing up. Please enlarge your website to provide more information. It would be better is this service was free but if that is not possible it might be more useful if you could drop the per month subscription and try a per-use fee.
I know that personally my chances of achieving a goal grow exponentially when I have someone either doing it alongside me, or asking me about how it is going. For that reason, I love the concept of an accountability networking site. Paying for it would be a problem, however. If it was a free service along the lines of facebook or myspace, I would be very interested in participating. In terms of the website itself, I would be served by a testimonial or two of people who have used it and the results they have achieved.
Everyone can benefit from this tool. Excellent work!
its a good idea that could come only from talented people like you. this system intends to churn acheivers out of procrastinators. but only actual results can show light on its success. so all the best
What I like about this tool is that you have a team to critique you available right when you need it. I would really like it if there were a way to develop a team that shares your specific goals. This would probably do well if advertised on job search websites. I might be more inclined to try it if it were cheaper. The website is relatively easy to use; I wonder if the many boxes is really the best layout--it seems like having everything more directly organized into flowing column of text might make the procedure easier to absorb.
As a teacherm I really like the idea as a tool. I would market this to teachers. There are associations and local groups, perhaps even homeschoolers who are very organized now. I hope there is some sort of widget developed to get this on sites. I'd sign up if there were group options as suggested. I can see a class signing up and making full advantage of this. Defeinitely for student study skills and development
This is the best idea I have seen in long time. You could have different calling times / numbers for different kinds of things people want to do.
Accountablility is the only way us lazy people get things done. You could make sure the coaches are qualified Try it out at schools. I'd change the color on the website.
Try this idea out at schools and see how it works
This is a great idea to motivate people giving their best to achieve their goals. Team work is very important. Maybe if their will be some reward, the motivtion will be greater. Pesronaly , I would go for it because it does fit me 100%, I'm always behind for my tasks.
i'd love it if you had some nice privacy scheme up and running as well - so you can define that for instance you only cooperate with out-of-state buddies or sth that makes you feel less prone to private or job relations spying on your efforts.
i know that the accountability model really works, has worked for all successful people who say being accountable with other people or a mentor is important, and it will definitely continue to work. this idea puts a very creative spin on it that will appeal to many people - great job !
Both of these projects are wonderful and will benefit thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners around the globe. Great work guys and keep on doing what you are doing! All the best, Adam Toren co-founder YoungEntrepreneur.com
By having a group and constantly discussing your progress, isolating the top three things you need to do in a day, and seeing what other people's productivity is like you learn alot about yourself. For example you may think your the best sales person, but your boss is going to look at your numbers , and activity to judge that. In the same light, you may think your days are productive but by putting outcomes into journeypage, and getting scores on what you wnat.
Regarding the website, the first suggestion is to change the colour scheme. The current colour scheme is hard on the eyes, rather loud, and too redundant. If you don't already have one, this is where a good graphic designer can help.
an awesome idea, really! and just a small point on marketing - I strongly believe that some invitation system might work the best. Remember you are competing with myspage, facebook, linkedin, etc. and if people want to network they can …moredo that for free on these other pages. Can't you sell advertising space instead? If you need to charge, and want to market it well, you definitely would need to do a free trial period so that people can get set up and see how it works for them before they commit to the cost. I didn't really have any problems with the web-page itself. I felt it was very user-friendly. Great idea and good luck to you!
This idea is PRICELESS!! To help someone achieve what they want to - that is the BEST service there could ever be, and to have a whole network of people that you can work for towards your goal...now here is the BEST idea I've seen to truly accomplish your goals , especially going into New Years!
The fact that I'm no longer alone to complete task is what I like best about this idea. I would prefer a interface so that I can choose the colorset (custom colors?) Marketing ideas : mugs, tshirts, pens, maybe a little mascotte (on the site) & on my desk, that reminds me to go back to the site. I would like to see more testimonials of people that have booked success using the service.
This is an idea that will help ordinary people, housewifes, students and also busy professinals. Everybody involved will benefit. Some kind of calendar where you can mark your successes would be good.
Love it! It is simple, powerful and practical. Think about how many more people would pursue big dreams if they had the GSD system to keep them moving forward. It's all about the baby steps. AMAZING! I hope this one wins!
Graphics : The font is idd sometimes a bit to large, great on a smaller laptop but really to big font on 19 inch and beyond monitors.. Pricing : 1$ a day is fine, fair price. Marketing ideas 1 : My best call concerning the marketing issue... You need banners , and other promotools People that use the service can add the banner to their site or blog or myspace or any other site. BANNER ADS ? Different styles & forms. Color-theme : is fine for me. Marketing ideas 2 : Why not A FREE TSHIRT for a YEAR SUBSCRIPTION ???
Your idea seems very good, it's a great way to motivate people into taking action and getting stuff done, especially knowing that others will be keeping track of your progress. I agree with joshnlulu, it's a bit too expensive considering all the free competition you will have, and it would be very hard to get people into it. I agree that a free trial period would be a good idea, but one long enough to get people hooked, or providing advertising space and charge less to people using your service. The page layout could be more attractive, and I think it has to do with the colours, I don't think that that shade of yellow looks good with red, but other than that it seems to be very good. I liked the pictures!
Where is the SCA (sustainable competitive advantage) of the GSD (getting stuff done) compared with OUTSOURCING WORK ? You will need a good business plan to work this further out.
You could also see a procrastination future in eg. the world of sports, because another comment talked about weightloss. Sporters also have coaches so why not normal human beings with 9 to 5 jobs , a buddy , that says hello mister (name), let's go for it, not just a collegue, but a kind of higher level people something like with students year 1 and then you also get a look at year 2 up to 7 (in doctor studies) a mentor.
really innovative idea; nothing like having an external program to achieve our goals and help us overcome procrastination and be more effective in our lives
This is a creative idea, and one that has the potential to be a really beneficial networking tool, not just a way to meet new people. I like best the idea of an accountability partner--someone to ask you if you are actually taking the steps to reach your goals. Someone to encourage you and push you along the way is so important. And I am much more likely to do something if I know someone will be checking in on me. I also love the coaching option. Michael and Sheena's story is quite inspirational, and I can see wanting them to coach me. The one thing that I don't like about it is that it costs money. Even though it is a great idea, I would not be willing to invest $360.00 a year for it. I wasn't so crazy about the website's color scheme and it seemed like some of the text was larger than they needed to be (too much red) and that kind of scattered my attention but I guess that's not the point. It's just that I notice this kind stuff and I think more people would think of trying it out if was more eyecatching (more graphics, more streamlined, cleaner, glossier) because this REALLY is a great idea and I feel like it deserves to get known. The whole concept of having group support on this kind of problem I think would be really effective. It really goes beyond setting personal resolutions. There was stuff like this about weightloss for a long time now but never about procrastination (I remember seeing those commercials on tv), so keeping that in mind I think using adverti…moresement, such as banners on popular websites and social networks would be a good marketing move. And although it's an affordable service... I'd be a lot more crazier about joining if there was a free trial period or a place where I can read users' testimonials because I'm really careful about my money and being a procrastinator myself, I don't have too much of it.

It is like when you are a tourist in a strange country. People also order a guide. Why not in the working environnement.
Isn't a group like a chain ? Only as strong as the weakest component? So the size of the group will matter.
Great idea to overcome procrastination. Receiving group support and challenging one's self through stretch goals is an innovative way to tackle the problem. The financial consequence in case the goal is not achieved can become another big motivation to act. My vote definitely goes to Michael.
I like the group calls as well. Often times when trying to meet a goal, people will give up when on their own. I would change it to one goal, with option to add up to 5. The website colors seem a bit boring. Perhaps add brighter colors for more 'POP' - eye appeal. Also the call times - are those supposed to be between those times, or exactly those times? Personally, if I were to use a site like this for (example) exercise or dieting, I would want links to those kinds of help. Maybe to get the word out there, offer the first [x amount] of users free access for [x amount] of time if they link to your site using Facebook or MySpace or on a blog. Overall, a good idea.
I like the idea of power hours very much since it makes people take baby steps toward a goal instead of being overwhelmed by it. I do think that you'll need an "introduction" series of calls where you ease the person into the system. Give them a good base for how to decide what's most important, or you'll have some people running errands and going to drop off mail at the post office during their hour while others spend the hour trying to train the puppy. I also agree with the previous commenter that there should be -some- slack given for missed calls. There are other things happening in peoples' lives like illness, deaths in the family, unexpected visits from friends, etc that could easily remove us from a conference call. I say that if people do miss a call, they should have s…moreome kind of make-up system in place: working the hour and calling at the end anyway if they can, or adding a dollar per miss (but no more) to the total cost that month? Keep in mind though that as a subscription service, people will expect to get their money's worth so if they pay for a day of work and advice and don't get it, even if it's for a great reason (like they were having a baby at the time), they'll want a refund or a second chance. Otherwise, there goes your customer base - especially with college students, many of whom feel there are better things to do with their money. Which leads me right into marketing: for me to join this program you'd have to convince me that this $30/month would in the end make me more money than I was spending - either through making me more marketable in the competitive job market, or by making me more successful at spending less and saving more. Maybe one of your focuses needs to be on successful budgeting and getting people to handle their money better? I know I'd gladly spend an hour budgeting my meals for the month if I thought it'd help!
maybe calling using services like Skype or Chatrooms can also improve the system. it could be expensive with international calls, so Skype may be a solution.
online accountability system seems to be a nice concept. i feel manypeople can benefit from it. it is designed for procrastinators and many people have an element of it in themsleves. one can really benefit out of it by using this system without procrastinating . get into the habit of interacting with other such people and see yourself moving towards your goals.
Marvelous & Brilliant idea. Don't make the 'workgroups' TOO big because otherwise it will be difficult to control. The power will be in the size of the peer groups.
It takes a while to figure out the pros and cons but after I read the comments and the website I really see some benefits for me personaly. I hope this project continues and more people jump on the boat.
I would love to see this in different places like libraries- could be a potential group starter- really like the idea hope you win
i agree with the previous color scheme take- i might hcnage the design, but love the idea hope you win!
as a teacher i know how important a procrastinator can be to people. wishing you good luck with the project.
This is a great idea. My favorite part was the group calls, so people can encourage each other to get the work done. To improve it I would take out the part about no excuses -- sometimes people do have good excuses not to do their work. Maybe just give them 2 excuses a month or something like that. I would market it as "Get more work done -- it's easy and fun!" I would like to see a few excuses given before I would join... but after that, I'd be sure to join! The website is good except that it's a little crowded: a lot of stuff is going on on the front page. Maybe make the information a little more spread out. Overall, though, great idea! You definately get my vote.
it is not always about marketing a product. why not marketing talent and let people share their work (like we used to do with homework) a teacher for life.
GSD IS GNG TO BLAST MAN!.... VERY WONDERFUL IDEA MAN...
wow splendid idea, i like the idea, maybe you can marketing it in youtube version also, anyway you turn it, people can surely use a procrastinator in a variety of situations.
Bright idea to get procrastinators take action by building accountability to others but also increasing self regulation in the first place. The idea is a promising one since it is fully voluntary and self enforced. Best of luck with the voting
liked the idea very much. its for the first time i have ever heard about this. the best part is that it comes from very reputed and experienced entrepreneurs. i hope it works for majority of people. but i feel the idea needs a little more explanation for a layman to understand it clearly. all the best
amazing idea when everybody is turning to internet for their needs. today we turn to internet for all our requirements be it socializing, confessing or anything else. it seems to be marvelous but its real benifit can be acheived only by registering for it and using the system in your life. i feel its use for some time will make a remarkable improvement in the life of a procrastinator
Great idea. I really brings us procrastinators together to work on this. I think that giving the user their own profile page to blog on and maybe a goals area that they could have a timetable for would be good. Also online chat options as an alternative or addition to phone calls could help the experience and really make the user feel like they're getting their money's worth. I think a good marketing point would be to offer a trial period or 5 bucks off for making a certain number of calls could help. For me to join myself, I'd like to see some more reviews and personal success stories. On the splash page of your website I wish there was bigger text and graphics that clearly showed the steps for me. Great Idea and a excellent job! Keep it up!
If it looks like it sounds I’ll try it after holidays. So far I don’t see a better idea to improve yourself especially at work. I hope so that with time the program will offer specialized groups for different professions. So far I don’t have any new ideas how to spread an information about the buddy-system, the most important media and ways were given by other users. The site is quite good although red and orange are not my favourite colors, IMHO green is more suitable.
I like the whole concept. its worth a try. If i could get motivated to get stuff done, what else do i want? Its just $1 a day. I pay more than that for my coffee everyday. I hope you win. coz i will join you michael. however i didn't enjoy going thru your website. The colors (yellow everywhere) are not soothing and enjoying for the reader. I wouldn't enjoy seeing that website everyday. Content is good but good color scheme (something neutral) would make it more appealing.
I have been through your website michael. Its a well thought out and innovative idea. It is sure to counter procrastination. Best way to make it popular is through its users. People who are achieving results could be encouraged to spread the idea through blogs and message boards. I hope you win, it will be good for many procrastinators out there.
encouragement and support is good but sometimes you also need help to set your goals. If the goals are realistic and achievable then there is more chances of being successful in achieving them. It would be great if there is some guidance in that direction as well. In many cases the reason of failure is the actual goal itself. For those who want to socialize, i would suggest some kind of messaging sevice on the site for out of 'power hour' talk.
an awesome idea, really! and just a small point on marketing - I strongly believe that some invitation system might work the best (and maybe even restricting signing up to people who receive invites from their friends), especially that the inviting person exhibits willingness to change their lives for better through using such a service.
A great idea, really. And while personally, I believe you should not (yet) narrow down the scope of operation to just a single type of issues, if you decide to do so, I would choose the family and relationship related ones. There is already so much of public knowledge with regard to professional time management or time management skills for students.
The idea is the most inventive from presented ones. As I see there is need to make specialized groups for different people, because nobody knows everything and buddy system should help not harm. To market your idea it is good to make a blog or podcast or even a newsletter with ideas or hints universal for many people for the day. I’ve already visited the web site, it’s simple and easy to navigate. It is OK for a common internet user. I keep my fingers crossed for you.
Michael rocks!! Its really works well man!! We hooked up!
It sounds like working in and with a community. What is tempting is that it is possible to get three impotant things done every single day. Usually that takes me a whole week. I would definitely give it a try. But being unsure of who i will be working with makes me a bit hesitant. It would be good to know beforehand as to what kind of people i will be working with. But still the idea is catchy and has a lot of potential to be successful if advertised on sites like u tube, my space, facebook etc.
not only a brilliant idea that is, but also the site seems really well thought over. to make the scope of the whole project even broader, i would definitely include usage of instant messengers and skype to include international users.
For me it sounds great. Sometimes I need that kind of “backup” to achieve something important. I think it would be more effective if you can get not only a phone-call but also an e-mail. In many cases you can forget something from the call but you always have the e-mail at which you could take a look. The web site is fine but you should avoid using tables and try make everything with CSS, it is more flexible and universal. To get people’s attention you should put adds in e. g. buses or subway trains.
i think this idea can have a very big scope. It can cover a wide range of tasks. If there are large number of groups, then may be you could make broad categories. Like people working on business realted tasks could be in one group and people working on personal goals like weight loss can work in another group. When people understand each other better, they work together better. The whole idea of buddy system is great. I saw the website. Its Great as it is. I wouldn't change anything.
a great idea in itsefl - and a timely one, considering the New Year coming in just hours. I can think of a small improvement, too - allowing users to form partnerships and cooperate with their peers struggling with similar issues (be it professional fields, study, health-related or whatever else) can further boost the efficiency of the scheme. Good luck!
Congratulations michael! This idea has a lot of potential to work. It sounds like a committment to oneself. This is a great way to achieve things that you would otherwise just keep postponing by fiding excuses. Social networking sites would be great place to market this idea. I would be more inclined to join if i knew how big the group will be that i will be working with. I wouldn't like to work with a group that's too big. Because then it won't be as effective.
A fruitful idea Michael!!!
Michael! Awesome and good idea .You are going to win.Take my word.
Awesome and good idea Michael!
The best thing about this idea is having some kind of accountability. However it would be even better if there was a way of choosing who you want to work with. It could be just the people's age, educational, occupational and cultural background. The idea seems cathy and would spead very quickly through word of mouth. Other internet sites would be great place to market it. Personally, i like the website as it is. design is good and navigation is easy. I hope you win. This is something many people will benefit from.
I believe it might be a nice idea to offer more varied 'power periods' of time. Sometimes you procrastrinate for months just in order to avoid a difficult phone call that would take 3 minutes, while at other times you should really go at top speed for a few hours.
Interesting !. Universities are a good place to market something like this and that should be followed by advertisements. Use social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace to promote this.
This is a very nice idea, especially a buddy-system that stimulates to work harder and more effective. One thing could be improved is a diversity of time periods of the "power hour". Sometimes you need more time to complete your task, maybe additional to options: 2 h and 3 h - "power time" with a meantime call "how it's going?". To spread that idea a banner of the web site should appear on financial/marketing web sites. For me the web site is OK. It looks nice under different browsers, text is scalable even under IE. You don't need anything more.
Great idea!
Fantastic idea!
It took me a while to undertand the idea completely. The more i think the more i am getting convinced that this will work.
Great Idea and it must Work well
Excellent and innovative Idea Michael! Great Stuff will work definitely!
Let me first congratulate you for conceiving this path breaking idea.If publicised properly then there would be many takers and they will certainly benefit from this.
The best idea this month. I feel that people will be able to really achieve more with the help of system like this. I would try to get bloggers and newspapers write about this.
what a great idea; I've looked at other ideas posted in this site, but this idea certainly deserves to win!!!
Great Idea !Brainy stuff indeed.I am sure this will click and catapult you to the innovater and thinker par excellence.
I can hardly wait to try this myself. Word of mouth advertising will pretty much guarantee the success of this idea.
What i liked most about the idea is that it is so unique and helps people from all walks of life to achieve their goals as there is accountability. Best suggestion for marketing it would be through Google Adwords and conducting contests and giving away freebies initially for people who join.
superb Idea
As always, fantastic ideas, Michael and Sheena...creative, yet so simple that it will actually work!! Buddy-systems always tend to perform stronger and have better results due to a sense of accountability......it's nice to see it being explored in such innovative ways. In the impersonal and somewhat alienating environment we live in these days, people really do need o be able to reach out to some kind of 'life coach' at times.....I'm sure this idea will have a big impact. Good luck!
Michael and Sheena have put in some great energy into this idea. I can personally attest to its benefits and how much of a difference it has made in my life. Best idea ....

I love this idea! All of the other goal website out there, are just advanced message boards. This is actual accountability and group support.
Count me in as a customer.
Whenever you add accountability, you always improve the results. This should be a very popular idea.
Great Idea
A good business idea.
Being open about what we truly want, stating our daily & habitual procedures toward acheiving things and rewarding ourselves when we've made progress, especially within our own peer group can offer a much higher chance of success in these areas.
People are over-distracted nowadays. It is important to have something that helps you focus on your target. Thanks for your idea.
Very good idea that can motivate procrastinators take action. Extrenal control and accountability can sometimes help to get things going. I hope this idea wins the award.
Great idea, it will make u win for sure
Group Motivation -super!

Hey, I like the general idea very much, but I think it can be improved by a series of articles or some other type of resources on time management.
Accountabillity in internet, that's a great idea.I think lot of people will use this kind of service.Good luck.I think it is a unique idea presented here.
G r e a t work Michael. and keep on doing what you are doing! Its an Awesome idea.
Sort of a Team Effort. Smart, modern idea.
I've followed Michael and Sheena's success for a few years now and they really deserve greatness. Looking forward to seeing you guys win this and many more awards!
fantastic idea
hey really sounds cool....how come nobody thought about it before...another way to market this effectively would be to conduct seminars and workshops...
Wonderful Idea Michael. Doing good. Best of luck!
An anti-procrastinating system would certainly have lot of takers in my opinion. Ads in leading management and business magazines would reach out to a wide and targeted audience.
I think this a really great idea. Being a NFTE alumni, I look forward to working closely with Mr. Michael Simmons regarding Journey Page. Best of Luck!
This is very grand and doable idea. Most of us fail to achieve our objectives because we are not able to maintain the kind of self discipline required to get there.I hope this initiative results in the change of mindset of most of us. What an excellent way to use Peer Pressure.
I like the general idea very much, but I think it can be improved by a series of articles or some other type of resources on time management, motivation etc. One of important issues would be to set oneself REALISTIC goals.
