  The idea of marketing two complimentary products together has been used by many companies over the years. Perhaps the most common would be PB&J.
  However, your product brings a certain humor appeal that frankly other complimentary products do not simply b/c of your pun effect.
  Exploring different marketing channels are good for a product like this one. Drug stores are a good place to start b/c of their consistent card collection. My advise would be before you start your approach begin thinking about what benefits your product has over the alternatives and what benefits and marketability it could have toward the business. A marketing plan and business proposition would be acceptable
  In regarding your idea of actually having sales people take the product to specific locations, you might want to think about the regulations and liability this one. My advise would be after you have your product in production, start marketing different packages to community organizations who do charity work. Perhaps a whole sale to some of these organizations could be realized.

  My other idea would be to start looking at the product offer itself. What kind of different honeys, jams, or jellies would you offer? Have you thought about jellies or jams? Having a wide product mix will give your idea a longer life and product reach.
  Another idea to think on is a partnership. Manufacturing and creating your own card line would be timely and expensive. My suggestion would be to specialize in one or the another, the card making or the honey.
  If you went more the honey making route, you could spend your other energy looking for card suppliers like halmark to do the card. Who knows, it might open up part of a market segment that hasn't be reached yet.
