Magnetic For Sale signs! Many people sell their cars "by owner". Until now, they have had to tape For Sale signs to their windows and leave their car at a busy intersection. Now they can easily add a sign to their car's sides and rear-end and advertise while they drive. Instead of putting duct tape on a product worth thousands of dollars, use a paint-safe, distinct For Sale sign that will get your car sold quickly.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I have purchased the inventory from China but I need money for promotions. I would contact Jalopnik.com and buy enough web ads to be able to sponsor a contest. This would encourage their readers to send in pictures of the worst, "For Sale by Owner" cars on the road. I have seen people do just about anything to get people's attention and some of those ideas are pretty funny and at the same time point out how much a For Sale Magnet would improve the aesthetics and efficacy of their marketing efforts.

i believe this already exists. my sisters has magnetic "for sale" signs on her car as we speak.

thelmeltree -- If it already exists, so what? How many people, other than your sister, are using them? Where are they sold?
