Idea Description
I'll be giving away flowers all Christmas month long. Roses, lillies, tulips... all bouquets of smiles. I'm bringing cheer to all who receive them. School secretaries and teachers will get flowers. City Hall staff receives rose bouquets. Kids take tulips home to mom: a 1,000 bouquets this month.
Our district school gardening program needs support so I promote "school gardens" to administrators, decision-makers, and their support staff. Nothing makes the argument for gardens like Christmas bouquets of red roses and pine. Making friends only helps. Gardening and fund-raising require patience and long-term vision. I'm planting the seeds for both.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
We will buy more roses and dahlias and even that tri-fold brochure we need to have printed. We will be able to even give away more to more flowers than before - to more people that can and will help.
