Idea Description
I started a children's dress-up company to help teach children to use their imaginations and realize their dreams.
I want to encourage children to play, be confident and not only realize their dreams, but go after them.
Providing tutus, crowns, wands, and eventually capes, hats and more, I hope to give children back their imaginations! So much has been lost through structured play and I would like to help rediscove the basics in a fun and elaborate way.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would like to organize my business for productivity and add fabrics, equiptment and patterns that I need to expand.
I would also like to continue donating some creations to children who are less fortunate. I hope to work with Saint Judes and the childrens cancer wing by next Christmas as well.

I think a great way to get promotion might be to go out and contact some of the Children's Museums in your area. They might be interested in purchasing some of your costumes or having kids play with them and give you the credit for making the costumes. Then kids who really enjoy them will have their parents look at the costumes and maybe convince their parents to buy them.
Also, if you're going to go up against big companies the best thing you can do is to try to find a niche in the marketplace. Go visit some of the big company's websites and look for anything that might look like a weakness you could exploit. Good luck.
