Q1: Best way to get funding?
Idea Description
Provide affordable housing to candidates by means of modular housing. Modular housing many times cost a 1/3 of the site built/stick built homes. Since homes are built on an assembly line they can be constructed in 1/2 the time. These houses are built stronger too since they must withstand transport to the homesite. So you get a stronger house built quicker for cheaper. These savings can then be passed on to the customer. For us we would to this by offering 20% down payment and closing cost assistance to housing candidates all without sacrificing market value and profitability.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
We had 2 ideas. One to launch the project by funding the arm of the company that would be providing housing counseling and savings planning. Or two, combine any funds we won with money we currently have to give us the needed cash infusion to be able to get a small business loan.
